I have never seen or played the game, and am simply curious about it. What kind of game is it and the storyline?

... of what ive HEARD of: its mainly an rpg like game, No, No random fights like MMBN, yo can buy stuff, blah and has a very big story... with less optionals, from what i know. probably INCORRECT storyline, since i dont KNOW it... -enter name here-, granfather of roll in this series, is a miner and digs up megaman triger and data. they activate him or something, and he becomes rolls 'brother', and -what IS his name?-'s grandson... or whatever. though hes a robot. or whatever he is.
he goes on missions with help frim roll and does stuff, and soon they get attacked by those lego dud3z. and theyre leaders. tronne bonne.(i think) shes a girl wich is mos tmportant in the bonne family for the legends series. she has her OWN game!!! ---i dont rememeber him, but he looks like an overgrown baby---. hes the youngest. -i dont freakin names here do i?- and hes the big brother. blah blah blah, missions, stuff, get rid off those lego dud3z, and then you get after a long long long very long game to juno. juno threatens to destroy the island or something, gets his ass kicked, bye bye.
all i know, and mostly wrong i bet.

take the crappy 3'rd person combat from X7 and remove all of the crappyness from it, it's the only 3'rd person megaman game that's worth playing (aside CM but that's a seprate board) it takes place after X5 or to go with complete storyline, distantly after ZX, Barrel finds him in the ruins of an island in MML2, you fight the bonnes Tron (girl) teasel (eldest) and bon (huge baby mecha) you also run missions in ruins and against reaverbots. you get weapons by finding parts and taking them to roll, instead of wining them as you would normaly do in the other megaman games prior time to this one, but then again if you were a bio-mechanical boy without the ability to copy wepons, why not just build them with a mechanic instead? you also travel from island to island in MML2. by being nice you turn bright blue, by being bad your armor gets darker (I've goten it black before but it takes alot of work.) to sum this up you run around blowing up bad guys getting cash buying parts and buster upgrades, misc items and stuff. it does have a very complex story behind it.

Hard to tell you the story without giving away the plot, although Ballade gave a decent summary. Pick it up, its definately a game worth playing.
