As you all may know, we censor some words on ZV to help keep the community family friendly. For awhile now, we've had scripts that would kick you in the chat if you say a word on the filtered list, but after a Staff Meeting tonight, we decided to try something new... All of the censored word filters are turned are off. No, you DO NOT get to rush into the chat and say every dirty word you can think of. People caught excessively swearing will be banned. You've been warned, so don't complain if you get banned. This includes just saying swear words just to say them. No excuses, the censors weren't taken off so you could swear, but rather, so you don't get kicked mid-conversation. We're all old enough to see a swear word now and then and not freak out, but don't get me wrong, we're not encouraging swearing, and if you're asked to watch your mouth (ESPECIALLY by a staff member) then we expect you to stop. The reason we put up the filters in the first place was because people didn't know how to stop when asked. So, there you have it. Keep in mind though that we have a Plan B in store if you guys can't handle this, something much more fearful than the previous scripts... Don't ask, cause the only way you'll find out will have unfavorable results.

That's a nifty change. This move might just encourage the nicer behaviours of us all, if I might add here. Well step done.

I agree, good job. Now you can separate the decent people from the foul-mouthed idiots.
